About Me

Not all that long ago I had a much more (albeit, perhaps a bit esoteric) narrow band, black and white view of life with very little gray. However, at the time, I had no self-awareness that this was the condition I was in. I had a great many very fixed ideas about what was what, what had been and what was to come and I was far too matter of fact in many of my views, especially in my religious and spiritual views. Well, long story short, in my life experience, there were a series of events that spanned about three years that acted to unravel my tightly held reality of life. The new reality that came into focus as a result, was the realization that I had pretty much been living a lie. Let me tell you, that is one helluva realization to have! BTW, I have no regrets or ill feelings about living the lie because, oddly enough, it was the lie that brought me to where I am today. The Space Outside blog is a story that just began to flow out of me one day. My other blog, A Pilgrim Thinking Out Loud, is just that...me thinking out loud via blog posts.
